About Jillian Lopez

As a recent graduate student from the University of Denver, I have developed skills as a researcher, translator, and advisor in Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. I successfully completed a degree in International & Intercultural Communication with a specialization in Global Business & CSR during the COVID-19 global pandemic. My interests include public policy, immigration law, journalism, and social equity measures. I am bilingual in Spanish and English. I am proud to have worked in the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver, alongside Dr. Miriam Valdovinos, assisting in research for Latinx health and economic equality initiatives with a strong focus on translating testimonies from Spanish to English. I am passionate about social justice and international policy, as well as human rights and responsible leadership practices. My current role is at the Hotel Californian in California, working in Human Resources as a Talent + Culture Coordinator.
