About Jillian McCall

Hello, my name is Jill McCall. I am a Senior at Concordia University Ann Arbor. My major is Finance. I’m currently not too sure what I want to do with this degree yet. I am not viewing this as a setback, but rather an opportunity to explore what all Finance has to offer. I am overall a very responsible and well-meaning individual. I am tentative and on top of my work. I have also explored turning my hobbies into a paying job. In both my current and previous jobs, I have been able to turn my passion for cooking into a paid position. These jobs required time management skills, organization, technological skills, and communication skills, along with passion to make this role enjoyable. I believe it is important to find enjoyment in obligations in order to become successful, as opposed to becoming stagnant. Some ways I have excelled in my life include academics. I have found school challenging but have always found ways to adapt. I believe problem solving can be applied both in a schooling or professional environment as well as in everyday life. It is an important trait to possess as difficulty is inevitable.I have taken my uncertainty in a future career to be a driving point to aid me in figuring it out. I will continue to explore different areas in order to reinforce both my strengths and weaknesses to narrow down the best fit for me.
