Let me tell you a little about me. I've climbed the half dome in Yosemite National Park; I've visited 42 US states; I underwent a year of testing to get my black belt at the age of 13, the youngest person in my dojo to ever receive it. Why is this relevant to Human Resources? CEO and Author Lolly Daskal, wrote an article stating that there are 10 qualities that make a highly successful person; drive, self-reliance, will-power, patience, integrity, passion, connection, optimism, self-confidence, and communication (Daskal, 2014). While providing you a long list of my experience and education in HR might demonstrate preparedness for the job, instead, I strive to demonstrate these qualities. In order to have a successful business, you need to have driven people.
