About Jillian Spillane

I recently graduated from Nichols College with summa cum laude honors. I am a Finance Leadership Development Program Analyst at CVS Health and will continue my studies at Nichols College to obtain my MBA. As an undergraduate student at Nichols, I made the Dean's List every semester and I was involved in several organizations on campus. I was a member of the Emerging Leaders Program, where I was able to develop necessary leadership skills that I will take with me into the workforce. The program challenged me to adapt to certain situations where differing leadership skills may apply. Moreover, I was a member of the women's basketball team, which has greatly improved my time management skills, as I balanced both academics and extracurricular activities. Also, I was Vice President of the Accounting Club, and had the opportunity to listen and network with guest speakers.My prior experience includes an internship at Hanover Insurance, where I assisted in underwriting accounts and followed up on outstanding claims in the company's Specialty Insurance department. Moreover, I have worked part time at Big Y Worldclass Market as a Head Cashier. During this role, I managed 30+ co-workers and ensured that front-end operations ran smoothly and at maximum efficiency. Lastly, I was a Lead Analyst for the Student Managed Investment Fund at Nichols College, leading a team of junior analysts to implement the best investment strategy while scheduling day-to-day workings of the group. These experiences allowed me to highlight my time management, creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills.In my free time, I like to attend antique car shows with my family and enjoy exercising. I have developed a passion for learning about antique cars and I am thankful for that opportunity to learn new things and expand my perspective.
