About Jilly Griffiths

I studied and began my legal career in Sydney, completing a clerkship and graduate program at Blake Dawson/Ashurst Australia. In 2014, I was admitted as a Solicitor of the New South Wales and Federal Courts of Australia. I focused my practice for the following five years upon civil litigation and competition and consumer law. I also worked on various regulatory matters and spent close to a year on secondment at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission in 2017. In 2019, I moved to Mauritius and began working at PwC Legal across a broad range of areas, including disputes, arbitration, contract, employment and taxation matters. During the pandemic, I undertook two major studies concurrently: the UK Bar exams (remote, self-teaching format) and CIArb's Diploma of International Commercial Arbitration (virtual format). I passed all my Bar exams on first attempt in March 2021 and was Called to the Bar of England and Wales in November 2021. I completed my Diploma of ICA in November 2021 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in April 2022.
