Summary I have worked in academic publishing for over 25 years, 18 of which were at Emerald Group Publishing, primarily managing the team that runs the extremely successful Literati Awards programme, although I have fulfilled several other roles too. Having taken redundancy from Emerald in July 2017 I have since been working as a freelance copy-editor and publishing consultant.
