The alternative funding we offer means you don’t need to write a check to fund a large amount of life insurance, so there is no need for others to solve any estate tax issues (due to lack of funds) at the time of your death, and our alternative is less expensive than other funding. Our Alternative The notes I issue in the bond market supply funding for large amounts of insurance. The difference between our program and typical premium financing is that our funding source is about 1.5% less than other funding and you only need to post 15% to 20% collateral to offset what the bond was issued for. A great example is a 10M bond issued to pay premiums on 1.5M collateral posted by a client vs having to post 10M collateral for a 10M bond and 1.5% higher interest.
