About Jim Ewing

Jim Ewing is Senior Consultant at Alpharesults, LLC. Since 2002, Alpharesults has assisted companies by providing management and administrative services for a variety of state and Federal tax credits and incentives. Alpharesults helps to identify and secure the credits and incentives that are appropriate for a specific company’s needs. Alpharesults can manage the entire credit process, starting with a no-cost evaluation of eligibility and continuing through data collection and final credit approval. Mr. Ewing has 45 years of experience in economic development and industrial site development. His responsibility as a Senior Consultant with Alpharesults is to market tax credit services to the economic development network, including state agencies, local communities, CPA firms and potential corporate clients. Mr. Ewing has extensive experience in sales and marketing, project management, personnel management and public relations. Mr. Ewing graduated from the University of Georgia in 1973 and 1977 with degrees in Zoology and Forest Land Management. He worked with the Georgia Forestry Commission before joining the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD), where he was initially tasked with developing and implementing a successful forest industry-specific marketing and industrial recruitment program. During his years with GDEcD, Mr. Ewing was directly responsible for managing and providing oversight for numerous major industrial location projects, including manufacturing plants, warehouse/distribution centers and corporate headquarters projects. Mr. Ewing’s duties included the identification, assembly, acquisition and development of the industrial properties needed to win major, highly competitive projects such as J. C. Bamford, Kia Motors and Mitsubishi Power Systems. He had overall responsibility for identifying, acquiring, permitting and developing the Kia auto assembly plant site in West Point. He was also instrumental in negotiating critical state and local incentive agreements for Kia and many other major industrial projects.
