About Jim Flaherty

At this point, I might as well tattoo "I'll solve it for you" on my forehead, but that wouldn't make for the best headshot. My personal mantra of "problem solving and common sense" guides me daily as a business owner. My biggest passion in business is working within the St. Paul community, whether that means volunteering, or partnering with non-profits. I studied business, communications and marketing in college and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. In 2007, an Allegra Franchise resale came available. Kari and I bought it. It wasn’t a very successful Center, doing only about in annual sales. We owned it for almost 11 years and grew revenues to approximately 3 million dollars. Like a lot of printers, we were doing some wide-format signs and banners but lacked the credibility and marketing efforts to perform as a legitimate signage and graphics business. In 2013, we added and opened the Image360 brand and immediately had credibility. We were named a top-emerging business by the local Chamber of Commerce. We sold both businesses in 2017. I took a short hiatus, and then started a digital marketing company called CORE Communications. That company has broken us into the digital marketing world and has been a great success. Now as a Consultant for The Franchise Consulting Company I am able to offer many great Franchised Business opportunities to those looking to own a business that is well supported and provides solid marketing and operational support. From corporate experience - to independent business owner - to franchised business owner (twice) and now to Consultant who helps others realize their dreams and goals of Franchise Business ownership, I am well prepared to assist and educate others through that process.
