About Jim Gillingham
Living on the beach in Coronado back in the late 70's brought together two of my passions, real estate and golf. The reason for the connection is that my family lived in a very famous, oceanfront home and when people came to visit, I naturally gave them a tour of the house, guest house and guest apartments as well as the grounds. It just felt natural to do so. When I wasn't showing people around the house, you could find me hitting golf balls off the front yard grass down to the expansive beach below where I would spend hours hitting them up and down the beach. Not many people get a chance to live in a mansion, but it wasn't about how big the house was, but about enjoying the house and its many benefits, especially to my golf game and my real estate career. Today, that house that we sold long ago is listed for sale at and to me, it would be worth every penny.
