Currently serves as a Regional Manager for the Medical Cost Reimbursement Program Office at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska pursuing and recovering monies owed to the government for medical treatment rendered for military members and their families caused by third parties across 26 states. Experience includes 24 years on active duty before retiring in the in the grade of E-9 effective 1 June 2009. Extensive office management experience. Researched, drafted and justified annual budget requests as well as supplemental funding. Worked with the Armed Forces Claims Information Management System (AFCIMS), Automated Military Justice and Management System (AMJAMS), Microsoft Office and Lexis-Nexis. Processed Medical Cost Reimbursement Program (formerly hospital recovery) claims, house hold goods claims and tort claims for and against the government. Interviewed witnesses, investigated claims, developed leads, analyzed information and recommended course of action. Developed training programs, awards programs and established performance standards.
