Previously ran the Canada Business Unit for Repsol (formerly Talisman assets). Previously SVP & COO at Laricina Energy. Prior to that had 30 years with ConocoPhillips holding executive positions in Canada as VP Development, VP Surmont 2 Project, and VP Oil Sands Operations. Prior to moving to Canada, held asset management leadership positions in Dubai and Alaska. Technical experience as a development, reservoir, production, and drilling engineer. Broad experience in onshore US, Arctic Alaska, Deepwater Gulf of Mexico, North Sea, Middle East, and Canada. Giant oil field water and EOR flood management in Middle East and North Slope Alaska. Various types of conventional gas experience in Mid-Continent, Gulf of Mexico, and Southern North Sea. Conventional heavy oil experience in Alaska and Eastern Alberta. SAGD Oil Sands experience in Alberta. Unconventional tight sands and shale gas experience in Canada's Duvernay, Montney, and Spirit River reservoirs. Registered Professional Engineer in State of Alaska and Alberta.
