About Jim Harbin
In 1997, Jim and Beverly Harbin planted an urban church, the Raleigh Community Church of Christ in a storefront on Covington Pike in Memphis, Tennessee. Today, Jim continues to lead the Raleigh Community Church of Christ as the Senior Minister. Through a variety of partnerships and collaborations, the church is a hub of ministry and a blessing to the community of Raleigh, Frayser, north Memphis, as well as portions of Bartlett. Jim is the founder of the National Urban Ministry Association and a recognized national leader in urban ministry and the preacher for Raleigh Community Church of Christ. He has expertise in empowering the poor and developing community collaborations and partnerships. Jim is available for speaking engagements, including: leading workshops, seminars, and preaching. Jim is available for consultation regarding urban and inner city ministry and planting urban or inner city churches. Jim’s focus now is developing leaders and multiplying ministries in a biblically based ministry called Phuteia.#phuteia.
