About Jim MacDonald

I am a highly skilled proposal manager with more than eight years of experience for a major corporation (and another year or so for a platinum partner of that company) leading team efforts for multiple products, across multiple industries, for both commercial and public sector proposals. In that capacity, I was a writer, editor, team leader, facilitator, compliance officer, problem solver, teammate, and teacher. My proposals are always high quality, compliant, and delivered on or before deadline. I have many more years of experience as a writer, editor, and office assistant in various roles and fields. There is almost nothing in an office I cannot do. I am good with technology, know a vast array of software programs, and have the skills to do my own proposal production and shipping, too. In my early years, I studied and taught philosophy at the university level. This rigorous field has helped me at every step with communication skills, public speaking, and logical skills to grasp and organize complex tasks that I have used in all of my later work.
