About Jim MacPherson

As an experienced Executive Producer, Director and Producer, I know firsthand how to create both quality creative content and how to logistically execute the goals of a production. I have spent over a decade working in reality/doc television production, which includes overseeing project from conception to final post stages. My expertise stretches from a history in development writing to over seeing all production aspects under the credit of Director and Executive Producer. With my tremendous leadership experience, I am confident in my crew/cast management abilities, and feel strongly about my positive communication, organizational and creative talents. I pride myself on the ability to tell a story, mold characters and work with production to create high quality, entertaining television. My recent experience includes Executive Producing the 3rd season of the HGTV special "Property Brothers at Home", Directing the first season of the hugely successful HGTV series Home Town and the highest rated show on HGTV "Brother Vs. Brother". Once we have an opportunity to meet you will find that I have a no job is to big or small attitude and the dedication and determination to meet deadlines, achieve the goals I set out for and to overwhelmingly satisfy Broadcasters. It is my belief that one must have a passion for their role to work in this industry.
