Supports a culture of safety throughout the organization and stresses the importance of safety to all employees • Builds strong customer relationships with region key customers. Maintains a strong working knowledge of the overall market area movement including market penetration, service and repair volume, competitors’ positions and strategies • Supports a culture of customer satisfaction that promotes customer retention. Works with other departments to ensure proactive customer service • Prepares forecasts for booking activity, projecting how much work will be brought in monthly and/or quarterly. Works with Region Vice President and Branch Managers to establish sales goals and budgets. • Reviews P&L and other financial reports to monitor sales performance within the region to ensure monthly goals are met or exceeded. • Collaborates with Branch Managers to establish goals and objectives in line with budgetary and corporate guidelines • Identifies areas of opportunity and facilitates sales force development including coaching, training, governance of sales processes, and selling techniques • Assists Branch Managers in quarterly performance evaluations. Sets strategies for performance improvement as necessary. Includes overseeing performance management and progressive discipline when goals are not met • Insures all bids are approved based on established approvals levels. • Reviews proposed large customer contracts with region and branch management. Reviews all specs and labor with branch operations departments for completeness and accuracy; ensures that each job will be profitable for the branch and region • Coordinates pricing and contract roll-out packages through the region and branch approval process and assigned local Account Manager • Leads and participates in presentations to large property management companies, professional business organizations, and specific market segments including hospitals, hotels, and residential developments organizations
