Upon my retirement from the United States Drug Enforcement Administration in 2020, I have had the privilege to lead AmerisourceBergen’s Diversion Control Team where I oversee customer Due Diligence investigations and the Controlled Substance Monitoring Program. As an executive, with over 25 successful years in law enforcement, coupled with three years of private industry, I have developed a broad expertise in program management, strategic planning, budgeting, team building, and problem solving. I have organized and led teams of subject matter experts from multi-tiered law enforcement agencies, the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and the pharmaceutical industry, in identifying critical gaps, and redesigning and implementing optimal and efficient enterprise wide solutions. I am an expert at developing strategic and innovative process improvements by utilizing multi-pronged approaches; such as industry outreach, compliance, and strong partner engagements. I have a clear understanding of operational goals and the ability to clearly articulate processes to minimize risk and improve legal and regulatory alignment. As a leader on numerous U.S. delegations, I have engaged with senior government officials and various private and public organizations in the international arena on the latest trends and global operations regarding listed chemicals and controlled substance pharmaceuticals. I am a diligent and resourceful leader, poised with exceptional operational ingenuity combined with a proven ability to actuate government and business strategy. With years in leadership, I have demonstrated skills in team building, security management, risk mitigation, public safety, and community outreach/education while motivating, leading, and directing personnel to overcome and adapt to the ever-changing operational and logistical challenges. I am committed to adding value and fulfilling and protecting the enterprise mission through a tireless work ethic, collaborative problem solving approach, fact-based decision making, and “lead-by-example” style.
