I am an experienced branch manager and sales professional with many years operational experience. I have held a U.S. Customs Broker License (LCB) since 1996, also a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) and Certified Export Specialist (CES) with over 20 years of experience in logistics, both domestic and international shipping, warehousing, and cargo insurance. I have been certified in the shipping of hazardous materials for air, ocean, and surface. I have also been responsible for export compliance on a corporate level and branch level. I have passed the Security Threat Assessment for the Transportation Security Administration and have been the security coordinator on a corporate level. I have applied for and received C-TPAT Certification (tier II) and was the security coordinator for C-TPAT. I am IATA certified and have a diploma from the International Air Transportation Association. In my past experience, I have worked with many participating government agencies. My customs broker’s license was the qualifying license for a large customs brokerage and freight forwarding office and I have been responsible for compliance under several government agencies and titles of the Code of Federal Regulations. I have also been the corporate licensed customs broker. I opened the international department and managed a branch office for an established domestic freight forwarder. I applied for and received all licenses and permits needed to establish an international freight forwarder. For the last 20+ years, I have been working with international and domestic freight forwarders and customs house brokers in every aspect of the operations, management, and sales.
