It's late 2024 now, and our energy is directed onto the 2025 tour season. Six new tour leaders bring a refreshing bit of energy into focus. Projects include two new week-long rail trail tours and improving our customer outreach at consumer events. We're even staffing our booth at the Iowa Bike Expo in January with a collection of tour guests from Iowa! This makes good use of previously untapped resources in addition to saving the time and expense of sending Tour Leaders from Michigan out in the middle of winter. We've also started a targeted marketing plan aimed at local bike clubs. Each club will be offered a special discount code. Hopefully this will create new customers. Back in my elevator days I knew the best finished product came on negotiated projects, where I dealt directly with the end user. This, as opposed to public bid work where the pressure was on everyone to pay more attention to the budget than to needs of the end user. Much of this applies here to private tours. Each of our private tours has been fine-tuned to the expected guests. We'll have one fast group from Chicago traveling 18 MPH+ in the Kentucky hills, three other tours where the daily rides are tailored to the groups, and finally a group of septuagenarians (70-79 years old) on e-bikes with a limit of 35 miles per day!
