About Jim Pyra

With 30 years of technical, senior project management, and staff development experience, successfully pursued, negotiated, delivered and managed portfolios of projects for a variety of public and private sector clients in the communications, healthcare, defence, and business domains. I've worked extensively with marginalized populations and my work includes technical and management consulting, strategic planning, meeting facilitation, change management, training, analysis, standards and process development. I have worked in all phases of the software development lifecycle including large scale application development, system integration and maintenance outsourcing in both local and geographically dispersed settings. I've managed and directed the technical design, development and delivery of e-Learning, courseware and electronic performance support systems. I enjoy building teams and helping bridge the gap between technology and its end users. I am also the president of a retail and property management corporation, have been an officer and director of three other companies and an officer of a public company, and have delivered record revenues, profits, and recognition for my teams.
