About Jim Spence

Having been in construction for at least a few years (18 years commercial, 11 years residential), my experience ranges from different parts of the country and industries holding positions as project and site superintendent, general superintendent and area manager over those years. Starting in Houston,Texas setting foundation forms for post tensioned buildings to commercial construction in Houston working as a laborer in high rise buildings, advancing to a metal stud framer, hanging drywall, doors and frames, suspended ceilings and finish trim, I learned hands on. Received Employee of the year award I was transferred to a new start up office in San Antonio, Texas and continued expanding my commercial knowledge as a hands on working superintendent doing schools, working on the Air Force base, Tenant remodels and build outs. In 1989 we moved to Las Vegas where I continued in commercial, land development and site work and decided it was time to learn residential construction. Accumulatively I have over 29 years managing construction projects of different sizes and difficulty. Without communication and dedication we get nowhere in life, 2 things getting harder to find in todays world that we should take with us wherever we go.
