About Jim Taylor

A technologist with a flare for community building and advocating for positive change. I have a 20 year technology career spanning many roles including: business administration/development, staff management, software development and systems administration. I have worked in professional environments ranging from the non-profit sector to Fortune 50 corporations. In my current management role I manage a team of 9 responsible for the design, maintenance and development of 20+ websites for the Highlights for Children family of companies. I’m the founder and lead organizer of Drupal Camp Ohio, an annual gathering of 150+ Drupalistas at the Ohio State University, and a compulsive community organizer who frequently finds himself gathering neighbors and like minded souls tougher to mingle, act and learn. From a software development perspective I currently specialize in Drupal though have been a contributor to other open source projects such as CiviCRM and cut my teeth building databases in FoxPro, Access and DTM Mumps and administering Windows servers.
