About Jim Torrens

How often do you feel heard and accepted, just as you are? My goal is to create a space for deep listening, where my clients feel heard, understood, and accepted, not only by me, but also by themselves. I begin with gratitude for being invited into their lives. As we get to know each other, I join in their experience and work with them to acknowledge and understand their pain and joy. Throughout, I maintain the conviction that they have the resources they need to respond to the difficulties in your life, even if they don’t yet feel that way. My approach is collaborative and grounded in deep empathy and respect. My style is flexible, informal, and guided by my clients' preferences.
