With over 30 years of experience in the commercial risk management industry, I have cultivated extensive expertise in managing complex risks for medium to large businesses across various industry verticals. Starting my career with rigorous training as a commercial property and casualty underwriter, I built a strong foundation that propelled me into roles in sales, sales leadership, and executive positions within the insurance brokerage business. Even though I have broad industry experience, my deep vertical specialization lies in commercial and industrial construction services, healthcare, and industrial manufacturing and distribution. My career highlights include serving for four years as the outsourced risk manager for an ENR Top 30 General Contractor, where I also held the position of President of their agency. Beyond the highlights of my industry career and experience, I am proud to be an Army Service Ribbon recipient and a combat veteran of the Gulf War (Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm), where my unit served with the 24th Mechanized Infantry Division. My unique blend of military discipline, commercial insurance and risk management acumen, and experience in high-stakes environments has consistently helped me drive successful risk management strategies and results for my clients.
