I have spent the last 20 years assigned to the Rio Bravo Interagency Hotshot Crew. 15 years as the Superintendent and 5 as a Crew Foreman. I have 36 yrs of experience working on Engines, Helicopters and Hand Crews and with the Kern County Fire Heavy Equipment Program. Last Position with the county was as Wildland Operations Superintendent working with all three of our county crews and serving as incident overhead on All Hazard Assignments. During this time I have been employed with the Bureau of Land Management, US Forest Service, and the Kern County Fire Dept. As of March 2019 I retired after a long and enjoyable career most days of 36 yrs combined between my federal time and county service. Past VicePresident USHotshot Association
