About Jimmy Blanco

Hello! I'm Jimmy Blanco. I was a student at Plymouth State University studying Business Administration studying for 2.5 years. Over the past 6 years that I have been a part of the workforce I have learned many valuable lessons when it comes to providing the care or services for customers. My first job was as a lifeguard at the Groveton Town Pool. I worked there from age 15 to 19. During summers following, I worked as a camp counselor and lifeguard at Barry Conservation Camp in Gorham, NH. This job had me on my feet day by day to make sure that everything was running smoothly and all of the kids got to have the time of their life while attending. The most important skill I learned from this job was by far communication. Some children responded differently to certain scenarios than others, so I had to change up my tactics to make sure I was having a personal connection with the kids. In the lifeguard portion of this job I was looking out for the safety of the children making sure they weren't doing anything dangerous. I have experience with general insurance, I never got my license but the experience I got from this position is something I will take with me to any future career I may seek.
