Managed multiple high-capex equipment projects for Tesla, such as three blanking Lines, two transfer Lines & one Tandem line, within a short time frame. Implemented stamping capacity & cost models for current (Model Y) as well as future (CyberTruck) programs. Coordinated 6-month hydraulic press system upgrade to achieve 3.5K Model Y production ramp in stamping shop. Improved press automatic die-change time to 5 minutes by optimizing air motor pneumatic system for moving bolsters. Approved design for 10 unique robot end of arm tools and implemented synchronization curves on Schuler press line. Integrated new pick-up position with +/-1mm accuracy on Rexroth hydraulic cushion improving equipment uptime. Improved availability for 5K Model 3 production by expanding conveyor buffer capacity and efficiency by 6 cars. Identified and eliminated unnecessary handshakes (communication protocols) saving 1 second per robot/cell. Facilitated installation and integration of $14 million work cell, CCD (Current Collector Disconnect) in Zone 0.
