About Jimmy Wolfe

Hello Everyone, I am a recent graduate of The Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University where I graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned a B.S. in Marketing, Information Systems, and International Business. I am currently interning with the Office of DE & I at Sony Music Entertainment where I am responsible for research, report writing, project management, and supporting both internal and external partnerships. I have absolutely loved my time working with the DE & I team and want to integrate this important work into my career. Before joining Sony Music Entertainment, I was an intern at InReach (the world’s first tech platform matching LGBTQ+ people with safe, verified resources) and Better Off Brunching (a startup that helps people find community by combining machine learning and brunch). These two experiences helped me to hone some foundational business skills like cold-calling, database management, research, social media planning, influencer partnerships, and event management. At Fordham, I was an active member of the Gabelli School of Business Dean’s Council, co-chairing the marketing committee and sitting on the DEIB committee. The Dean’s Council allowed me to serve my fellow students, while also strengthening my leadership capabilities as I oversaw marketing projects for the entire council (made up of 8 committees). Some of my other notable involvements at Fordham include serving as a Freshman Advisor, working as a Resident Assistant, and being an active member of the International Business Association. I am driven by curiosity and a drive to excel. I have a strong desire to work in a dynamic environment and build a career on the foundations of hard work, authenticity, and community. In my free time, you’ll find me reading, writing, attempting to learn mandarin, or falling down a Wikipedia rabbit hole.
