About Jin Lee
After leaving Conde Nast and going freelance, I spent much time volunteering in my local community. Whether running fundraisers for the Friends of the Ridgewood Library or co-chairing the International Fair, I put my exceptional organizational skills and keen eye for detail to great use. I pride myself on noticing the things others miss. I felt more than ready to re-enter the paying workforce when I joined the staff of the Ridgewood Library as the PR coordinator. It is the perfect job for me, marrying my experience in journalism with my love for libraries and for serving a diverse population. My belief that everyone deserves to be met with kindness goes a long way when collaborating with colleagues and understanding the needs of our patrons. As the PR coordinator, I’m in contact with our local press regularly, help publicize the library’s many offerings, proofread materials and help coordinate adult programs. I’m not sure I could have hand-picked a job better suited for my strengths.
