About Jin P.

I love data and all the opportunities it gives companies and teams to support their end-users. My journey to Software Engineering has been non-conventional but one driven by a love of learning. I started my education with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering but realized it was not my passion near the end of my degree. In search of what I’m truly passionate about, I took and graduated from a fullstack Bootcamp course and realized software is what I want to do for my career. Data, especially, was what excited me. I realized I needed a higher level of education and so I returned to college for an M.S in Computer Science and Engineering, focusing on Data Science. With my first job as a software engineer, I realized that I wasn’t getting as much hands-on experience with Machine Learning and Data as much as I would like, which was a signal for me to start another adventure. Now, I am looking to start my next chapter in my adventure as a Data Analyst while I'm helping other people like me to learn to code for data analysis. My goal now is to find a position in a company that will give me an opportunity to dive into my passion and help foster my growth. I am a passionate life-long learner and a hard worker ready for the opportunity to apply all I have to offer.
