About Jinsu Johnson

I am a Civil Engineering professional with over 6 years of progressive experience in delivering complex infrastructure projects, both internationally and in Canada. My technical expertise spans heavy civil construction, support of excavation (SOE), transit infrastructure, and structural works, with a strong foundation in field engineering and project coordination. In my current role as Senior Technical Coordinator at Aecon, I am supporting the execution of the Lawrence Station SOE package for the Scarborough Subway Extension. This includes coordination of detailed excavation sequencing, utility relocations, temporary works, and interface management between design consultants, subcontractors (e.g, Bauer), and internal construction teams. Previously, I contributed to the Gordie Howe International Bridge project, focusing on structural coordination and managing submittals, RFI tracking, NCRs, and technical documentation for key components of the bridge and associated works. My international experience includes serving as a Field Engineer in India, where I oversaw structural framing, slab reinforcement, quantity take-offs, and QA/QC for reinforced concrete school buildings.
