About Jiri Ulip

In our team we align people and unify data. We spend enough time with our stakeholders, identifying what they need to achieve. We design systems to meet their needs, while adhering to good architectural practices. Whatever data users generate must be accessible across the company. All team members, including myself, need to be eager to learn and support each other. This allows us to support our stakeholders in the ever-changing world. Before I went in a more architectural direction I held quite a few managerial roles. In my current position I still manage plenty of things, but I’m more focused on the bigger picture. I started my career while back as a translator, which I enjoyed quite a bit, but the impact wasn’t what I have wanted. Thinking of impact, I also spent one term as an elected representative in Brno City municipal government. It was a great piece of experience, but a bit too low-tech for my liking.
