About Jisha Babu

My expertise are in the field of anti-human trafficking, child protection, community development and skill training. By putting in place a multi-disciplinary strategy to rescue and rehabilitate the trafficked children and women, I played a crucial role in the establishment of a powerful Anti-Human Trafficking unit in Bangalore, Karnataka. The organization was able to offer suitable aftercare and legal support to the survivors, with the help of the professional networks established with partners. I contributed significantly to the planning and execution of a community development programme in the Bangalore Rural District of Karnataka with the help of the organisation I worked for, that placed a particular emphasis on the empowerment of women and children. This project also placed a strong emphasis on the overall development of the District's migrant workers. At Present, I am serving the Higher Education Department of Government of Kerala in the capacity of a Programme Manager in it's major skill training initiative. The goal is to increase the employability of young people and the community as a whole and to give educated young people new generation jobs by offering them training and certification programmes in cutting-edge technologies in partnership with business partners. I possess knowledge in need analysis, project planning, project implementation, evaluation, impact assessment and team management.
