I head Business Development, Strategy and Transformation at LUXASIA, Asia's beauty omni-channel leader. I also am a Partner at Long View Ventures, a seed-stage sector-agnostic early stage investment fund. I write on business, technology, startups, and everything in between, at https://jitha.substack.com/ Previously, I was Director-New Segments & Strategy at Indifi Technologies. Indifi is India's leading SME lending platform, funded by top-tier VCs including Accel Partners, Elevar Equity, and Omidyar Network. Prior to this, I co-founded Rouse Digital, a Mumbai-based startup building products to help brands in India build customer loyalty. I also have 7+ years of strategy consulting experience, first as an Engagement Manager with the Monitor Group (strategy consulting firm), and then as an Associate Director at FSG (a mission-driven consulting firm focused on social change). Both firms, incidentally, were started by Michael Porter. Across these two stints in consulting, I've worked with business leaders at several of India's largest companies in Auto, FMCG and other industries, on new market entry, growth strategy, marketing, etc. I've also worked on market-based solutions to social problems, primarily in the fields of sanitation and family planning, including on a project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Today, apart from my role at LUXASIA, I also write on entrepreneurship and business at https://jitha.substack.com/, drawing on my experiences with early stage companies, as well as my stints in consulting. The focus is to help current and aspiring entrepreneurs start and run their businesses better. My articles have been featured in Yourstory, Rediff, Mattermark Daily and other publications.
