About Jo-Anne Button

I am a motivated individual with over 10 years of product and service sales experience and 10 plus years of office and Customer Service management experience coupled with various training and instructional certificates. I am a quick study and love to learn from my peers. With my enthusiasm, previous work and academic experience in management, operation, logistics, marketing, sales and accounting. I believe that I have the skills to share and improve on within the right organization. In May of I graduated from the Bachelor of Commerce Co-Op program offered by Dalhousie University with a concentration in marketing and sales management. The training and academic requirement have further refined my sense of management skills and I have developed strong organization, presentation, and interpersonal skills. My previous work experience has given me the knowledge and opportunity to build a rapport with a wide diversified group of customers and employees, thus allowing me to understand and address their needs and concerns while working with them to develop solutions. I believe that new opportunities would be a great to expand my knowledge, utilize my experience, as well as enable me to achieve my future goals. Through prior work experience I have assisted other department managers at various tasks and have had extensive experience handling responsibility including leadership, management and training duties. Returning to the world of academia as a mature student, I have realized the importance of time management, multi- tasking, analyzing and creating efficiencies whilst maintaining organization in both work and academics. This applied knowledge has allowed me, in part, to achieve my goals to date and will continue to play an essential role in my future endeavours.
