About Jo Bell

Hello! I am an entrepreneur, a facilitator, and I LOVE to free people from that which binds them! While being blessed to attend some of the best schools (University of Michigan, University of Southern California, Chicago Theological School and the Episcopal Divinity School) in the US, I realized I'm never truly fulfilling my own soul when I'm working for someone else! I spent my 20s serving a decade in the US Marine Corps as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer, traveling the world with a dozen F/A-18s. I traded in my cammies for a suit and heels and did a decade of "Corporate America" working in many aspects of technology, banking, and finance. In 2001 I took the leap, landed on my feet, and have never looked back! I've built a nearly 20 year coaching and consulting business - InSpired Conversations. During those same two decades, I've walked a parallel path to my consulting work, and have been blessed to live nearly 20 years as a professionally ordained clergy person - being invited into the sacred and thin places of people's lives. I'm an author, a writer, a curriculum developer and a business builder, and, most recently, I'm an "actual" builder as, with my partners, we are building a non-profit Retreat and Event Center just outside of Austin, Texas - Sanctuary in the Woods, Inc. a place for all to come to Rest, Refresh, Reframe, and Re-Engage.
