About Jo Krumsvik

Currently working at Red Bull’s Global Headquarters in Austria for the IT department with new projects surrounding the AI topic. Amongst the topics are RPA, Gen AI, Agentic AI, and the value it can bring in efficiency and time saving for our internal workers. A part of my responsibility is also being a bridge between the innovation team and our sales off/on premise in searching the market for it's newest technologies and estimate how they might provide value to us. This allows me to do something I love in staying in close contact with the tech startup community while pushing internally at RB for the newest feasible solutions. I previously completed my M.Sc. in Data Science & Business Analytics with a concentration in Advanced AI at IE School of Science & Technology. This top-ranked program—7th globally by QS World University Rankings (2023)—offered deep exposure to artificial intelligence, machine learning, marketing analytics, and data visualization, all framed within a leadership development context tailored to the needs of modern industries. As part of the program, I also conducted my capstone thesis in collaboration with Microsoft Madrid, where I explored real-world applications of data science in a corporate innovation environment. Before that, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a concentration in Business Analytics at Menlo College in Silicon Valley. I served on the Board of Directors for the Business Analytics Club (BAC), maintained a 3.95 GPA, and graduated Summa Cum Laude, one semester ahead of schedule. As a Student-Athlete, I was honored with numerous awards, including: NAIA All-American Player, Menlo College Fall Athlete of the Year, GSAC Player of the Year, Collis Steere Academic Award, GSAC Scholar-Athlete, Academic Global Immersion Representative. Through these diverse experiences, I developed strong capabilities in IT project management, account and portfolio management, AI and data strategy, management consulting. With an undergraduate business education rooted in Silicon Valley and a graduate degree in AI and data science from a leading European university, I’m passionate about solving complex problems and driving strategic impact at the intersection of technology, analytics, and commercial performance.
