About Jo Pilkington

I am a Senior CITMA Paralegal at Konexo UK, a division of Eversheds Sutherland. I have been at Eversheds Sutherland since 2006 and joined the Branding Group in 2009, qualifying as a CITMA Paralegal in 2011. Konexo provides a broad portfolio of managed services, interim resource solutions and consultancy services to in house legal, compliance, HR and corporate secretarial functions. Konexo deploys the latest intelligent analytics, automation technology and innovative operational processes to offer flexible access to the right blend of skills and experience. Within my role, I am responsible for many aspects of the formalities work undertaken by The Branding Group, including managing the records on our trade mark management system. I am involved with the prosecution of trade mark applications and I regularly liaise with overseas attorneys, as well as the UK IPO, the Irish Trade Mark Office, EUIPO and WIPO. I also assist with the maintenance of clients' trade mark portfolios, including maintaining up-to-date records and advising in connection with trade mark renewals. I also have extensive experience of managing and handling large assignment recordal programmes, to record licences, security interests, changes of name and addresses and regularly advise in connection with notarisation and legalisation requirements.
