About Jo Raisey

I have had tremendous opportunities in my career and the power to affect the lives of those I work with. Whether it be as an operational leader responsible for hundreds of employees or developing the strategic talent and career progression agenda, or, as an independent advisor to board members on organisational effectiveness, my overriding motivation has been to help others succeed and ensure integrity between organisational rhetoric and employee experience. Three things have become apparent to me over this time. Firstly, no matter how coherent a business’s career architecture is, brilliant people are missed because of assumptions about individual capability and agency - I want to help people find what they are best at and break down barriers to achieving this. Secondly, the importance of paying attention to organisational culture at the same time as considering operational imperatives is vital. Great people want to work for an organisation with a heart and a conscience. Thirdly, that I am purpose driven, socially motivated and independent minded and I want to use these qualities and my experience in a meaningful way.
