The process of gathering vast amounts of intel, working with some of the greatest in their fields, collaborating with experts across sectors in ways that transform visions into reality. At the centre of this are real life stories of people we serve, whose needs range from life altering or support in a time of need or a simple fair opportunity. That is why I love what I do. I am simply the storyteller - I respectfully acknowledge that anyone and everyone may need a helping hand at some point in their life. My work involves striving to ensure finite resources respond to the needs of people, and increasingly the needs of animal and planet too. First, we must understand the big picture and then the complexity of all moving parts. At the centre of this work is the hope of making a difference in the lives of those we walk beside in a time of need along with many generations to come. We have a responsibility in our shared community - to support those in need now and into the future. To not assume we have all the answers but to humbly walk beside and offer a helping hand when needed. The responsibility of delivering human, health, social and environmental services cannot be understated. The efficiency and effectiveness of resource allocation is critical, to achieve fairness, excellence and accountability. Most of all, as we move through a digital revolution, services need to find ways to ensure the most vulnerable members of the community are reached, heard, respected and empowered to action. A deep passion for policy, bidding/tendering/submission management, particularly in the human, health, social and environmental sectors was born from many years working in senior leadership within health and community services sectors. These skills are underpinned by 20+ years in the Not for Profit and Charities sector (both in Australia and internationally), an MBA (Mktg and Assn Mgmt) and some seven years fully dedicated to tender and funding submissions. My superpower is the ability to develop winning submissions based on transformative service solutions, centred around client needs, that empower social change.
