I am an engaging and inspiring communicator, that uses critical thinking and research skills, alongside highly developed networking skills, to translate complex concepts into easy to understand client focussed communication. I work both on and off line and in writing, producing live and recorded educational podcasts. I am an experienced coach and mentor helping translate client goals into deliverable actions. I also have high levels of advocacy skills having spent the last 12 months supporting an autistic teenager understand his cancer treatment and helping the medical teams to understand his needs whilst in hospital. Communication – Highly experienced communicator translating complex concepts into easily understood, bite sized learning; Advocacy - 12 months of walking alongside an autistic teenager helping him to understand his cancer treatment journey and to communicate his needs to medical staff whilst undergoing cancer treatment; Coaching - Experienced mentor and coach using highly developed listening skills to ensure clients set realistic and achievable goals and prepare well to meet them; Research - Highly organised and experienced researcher producing outstanding on and off line learning materials. I am also a third year, part-time, professional doctorate student; Networking – Whatever is needed for any business or project I can get it. For example, negotiating deals to set up a waste food café and securing great speakers for lectures, like James Timpson, the current prison minister; Self starter – I work unsupervised to meet all my targets, so no micromanagement required. This skill is invaluable as I work my way towards my professional doctorate; Highly developed organisational skills – I deliver to target and on-time You can't lead a programme teaching 400 students without this skill; Computer skills – Experienced with all MS Office software, highly skilled learning and educational material developer using virtual learning environment software.
