About Joan Beebe

Tenacious, detail-oriented, change champion, motivated, organized, adaptable, goal-oriented, takes initiative—these are all words others have used to describe my work ethic over the years. I am an informed risk taker who embraces change and welcomes a challenge. I’m a believer in any adversity having an equal or better opportunity. My diverse professional history and passion for learning has broadened my knowledge base proving beneficial to my employers. During my training and organizational development years, I personally trained over 400 employees during the rollout of the "After Action Review" process, a systematic approach used in government and select manufacturing companies to analyze events and proactively share and apply lessons learned to improve future performance. My "lessons learned" from my years training built strong core competencies that apply to any new position. In recent years as a successful project manager, each project presents new challenges, new learning opportunities and new opportunities for greater results. I add value to a new project by- Understanding the value of people resources, building relationships with those resources and the importance of teambuilding- Utilizing root cause analysis techniques to quickly identify and resolve issues before they escalate to impediments- Creating a safe environment for candid self-evaluation- Ability to adapt and relate to multiple teams and recognizing the value each member brings to the team- Recognizing the value of flexibility in project management by obtaining Scrum Master Certification and utilizing agile methodologies when applicable. I welcome the opportunity for my next challenge.
