About Joan Dohey

For 29 years, I taught French Immersion classes to children grades k-6, as well as to adults. I have now embarked on a career in wellness! In 2011, I completed training with the Bowtech Academy to become a Bowen therapist. I have completed advanced courses including Special procedures, as well as studying with Graham Pennington (The Importance of Symmetry) and Smart Bowen. In 2014, I completed Reiki levels I and II, as well as becoming a certified reflexologist with Toronto's Footsteps School of Reflexology. In 2015, Life Coaching and Rahanni have been added to my list of services. I am passionate about helping people heal and helping them move forward in their lives. In 2016, I completed certification in Animal Bowen Therapy and have opened a new business called "Give a Dog a Bowen." In 2017, I am offered group playshops (Adult Kindergarten), Summer Camp for your Inner Child and speaking engagements called "Just for the Fun of it" where participants reconnect with their fun side- which has many mental, physical and emotional health benefits as well as social and productivity benefits! This was also the year of certification in Soul Genesis, which consists of healing on a soul level.
