About Joan Meredith

I am a eclectic practitioner, committed to practical social justice. I carry a deep understanding of the role evaluation can play in the development of social policy, organisational strategy, program design and management across all sectors. This helps inform my program implementation practice. Over the past 13 years, my intensive work within remote communities located across the Territory has been guided and supported through the valuable teachings generously offered to me by many members of our First Nation peoples and I bring to the environments I work within, more than 40 years of practical experience in the delivery and management of a wide range of community sector program's and services. For the past two years I have carried responsibility for the role of Central Australia Red Cross Regional Manager. I enjoy working with a team of dedicated Community Development practitioners who are committed to community resilience building and community led decision-making.
