Specialist Trainer/Educator with over 23 years’ experience working with individuals, families and communities affected by migration and other trauma experiences. Experienced case manager of complex clients including torture and trauma survivors and asylum seekers, this has included children, adolescents and adults individually and as family or otherwise connected groups. Extensive experience in delivering workshops about the effects of trauma, long term advocacy & coordination with other relevant stakeholders. Program coordination and management experience, Research and writing experience for reporting, articles in various publications, and workshop development. Extensive community development with local communities. Project management, event coordination in creative as well as education space. Past experience working with Bachelor College and recent experience working with research and training provided in youth justice space in terms of understanding impact of trauma and adolescence and working with building resilience.
