About Joana Serrano
Hi, my name is Joana Serrano, and I'm currently working on Module I term this fall to obtain a Master of Education in the Educational Technology program. My goal is to complete my master's degree by Spring 2022. I have been working at PSJA for seven years as a teacher in General Education and the Special Education resource at Kelly-Pharr Elementary. In addition, I am also the Campus Instructional Technologist (CIT) and the coordinator for the Technology Club at my campus for the 5th year. With the continued demand for technology during the pandemic, I decided to pursue a master's in technology. My goal is to acquire roles as instructional specialists and expand into leadership roles that will assist the Special Education Department in providing better education for students in the program.
