About Joann Helms

JoAnn Helms is the owner of a very successful Independent Adjuster Firm in Mobile, AL. Her people skills have cultivated relationships and forged business bonds that can be testified about throughout the claims adjusting community from coast to coast. JoAnn was first introduced to claims adjusting in 1989 where she began as a Flood Adjuster's Apprentice. In 1993, JoAnn continued work in her original field of business as a freelance hairdresser. Then in 1997, she began work for Pilot Catastrophe Services specializing in Catastrophe administration. In the year the entrepreneurial leap was taken as JoAnn bought a failing beauty salon, and in a matter of 6 months, turned it into a profitable business. While still running and managing her salon for the next three years, JoAnn felt led to return to her true calling, claims adjusting. In 2001, JoAnn became a licensed adjuster in the state of Alabama. In 2004, she began working for Claims Consultants LLC. In 2007, she again realized her passion for business ownership as she became a member of Claims Consultants LLC's Corporation. Over the next several years, the business thrived as she exercised her talents in marketing and client relations. The pinnacle of personal achievements came in 2012 when JoAnn realized her dream to became the majority owner of Claims Consultants LLC, solidifying her status as a woman owned business.
