I lead the Education Practice at people and culture consultancy, 100 & First, and also advise ambitious schools and start-ups - from Dulwich College, to Cranleigh School and the Oxford Scholastica Academy - on leadership, entrepreneurship and strategy. In 2019, I became a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts for my work in the entrepreneurship and education sectors. I began my career working in politics in South Africa, where I held positions including Chief of Staff to the Parliamentary Leader of the Opposition. I am also the Founder of Delivering Better, a national campaign for maternity care reform. Our aim is to build a powerful national coalition of voices - from mothers and birthing people, to midwives and beyond - who can advocate for change, push this issue to the top of the national agenda, and keep it there until care is safe, compassionate and evidence-based.
