I am a board certified Family Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I obtained my Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. I opened an individual practice, Just Be You. Psychiatry in 2019, and prior to that worked for 2 years in Frisco at Prime Psychiatry. Prior to obtaining my degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner I worked in critical care in the ICU for 8 years. My goal with my business is to create a safe, non-judgemental environment, where individuals are encouraged to come as they are and just be themselves. My goal is for individuals to leave my office feeling heard, validated, and confident in the individualized treatment plan. I perform initial psychiatric evaluations (up to 90 minutes), and follow ups for medication management (up to 30 mins) for 6-65 year olds. In network with the majority of plans under the following insurance companies: UHC, BCBS, Aetna, and Cigna.
