About Joanna Luo

A professional daydreamer with an eye for the invisible threads connecting people to products and pixels. My creative journey began with game character design, where I learned to craft compelling visual stories. This evolved into a passion for UX design as I discovered the joy of solving real user problems through thoughtful, iterative design. As a first-generation college graduate with a multicultural background, I bring unique perspectives to every project. My experience taught me that truly engaging experiences come from understanding cultural nuances, diverse user psychology, and authentic emotional connections. Through my experience as an Adobe Digital Academy Fellow, I've strengthened my skills in interaction design, cross-functional team collaboration, and user research methodologies: I believe masterpieces emerge from embracing the creative journey, not perfection. Great design happens when we iterate thoughtfully, learn continuously, and balance user needs with creative vision. When I'm not designing experiences, you'll often find me lost in anime worlds, tackling game quests, or sketching fashion concepts.
